Children and young people of all ages are very welcome at Kinver Methodist Church. A wide range of activities is put on for them, so that they feel very much a part of the Church family.
All those working with children and young people are trained and DBS checked in accordance with the Safeguarding Policy of the Methodist Church.
Children’s Church meets every Sunday morning in the Church Hall, for the second part of the morning service and caters for children aged two and upwards. A crèche is available for younger children.
Children’s Church aims to give the children a good grounding in the principles of the Christian faith by developing their knowledge and understanding of the Bible in a relevant and child-friendly way. The sessions are designed to be fun and engaging through the use of music, games, quizzes and arts and crafts.
There are four Family Services each year (Mother’s Day, Easter, Harvest and Christmas) when the children remain in Church and often take part in the service.

Friday at 3:30 pm – 4:45 pm in the Church Building
J Team is a Christian after-school club for anyone who is aged 7-11. It provides a place for young people to have fun with friends and explore what it means to get to know God. We meet every Friday after school (except for the first and last weeks of each half term). It’s a chance to share food and learn a little about God’s love each session, through art, cooking, dance, drama, quizzes and lots of games!
